Solution Focused

We practice a form of therapy called “solution focused therapy”. That means we come from a place of exceptions. Our therapy model is meant to be brief, we’re looking for momentum, and forward movement. Within your session we are finding what you want to explore or work on, and focus on that to make a change.

 

First Session

The first session of therapy we’ll discuss the limits and expectations of therapy, payment, and insurance. During the session expect to go over a lengthy and in-depth history of your medical and mental health as well as social factors.

 

Duration of Therapy

During your time in therapy, we’ll work toward goals that you’ve established whether that’s figuring out who you are, managing panic attacks, or decreasing depression symptoms, we’ll work towards interrupting unhelpful or stuck patterns holding you back.
